So I haven’t posted a while. Why? I’ve had a major crisis. What every 3rd year doing their fmp dreads- everything on my computer has been deleted (all the work of a man who claims to be my father) and the computer itself is not working. Do I have back-ups? Illustrator files yeah, Photoshop files nuh. I’ve done enough crying, enough cussing, enough negative thinking- thinking I would not be able to graduate and now I’ve pulled myself together to face the world again (and my father- just about). The most damage is in the area of my research, my bookmarks and the photographs I took, but thank God some is on the blog and a couple on my camera. No computer at home but one of the guys at work has given me his lap to work on which is lovely of him.
Anyway I’ve stop licking my wounds and I’m staying positive. Like someone told me, ‘it’s not how it went wrong, it’s how you fix it’

Oh no, how did he manage that?! So are you back on track?
Did you go into the old part of Highgate cemetery? My ancestor is in there, glorious tombstone, they sell postcards of it (he's the one with the English heritage plaque in Camden town). Just enter Tom Sayers into google and you'll see engravings of his funeral!

Sorry about the loss of work, you aint the first and not the last...I am just about to publish a schedule for further group meetings early next week- so will need a very claer picture from you of where the project is going and its definite visual identity, format and outcomes. Hopefully you will be well on the way to catching up.

Hey Ivy, i feel so sorry for you, i accidently deleted everything off my laptop a few months back and lost every thing- the worst feeling ever! Really look forward to seeing ur project completed!
